2025-005-08 RFP Sale of Surplus Vehicles - Buses, Vans, Cars, & Trucks #18077

The Clarksdale Municipal School District (CMSD) Board of Trustees invites sealed written bids from qualified bidders for the purchase of surplus vehicles currently owned by the District. These vehicles have been declared surplus due to various reasons, including excessive age, significant mechanical issues, and/or the high cost of necessary repairs that render continued district use impractical or financially unjustifiable. All vehicles listed in this proposal are sold strictly "AS IS, WHERE IS", without any warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied. CMSD offers no assurances regarding the current condition, mileage, mechanical operability, emissions compliance, or usability of any vehicle listed. Bidders are strongly encouraged to inspect each unit in person prior to submitting a bid. CMSD assumes no liability for any damages or losses after purchase. Buyers will assume full responsibility for removal, registration, title transfer, taxes, and future repairs or maintenance. Bid Options: Bidders may submit: • Individual bids on one or more vehicles, OR • A single comprehensive LOT BID to purchase the entire inventory in one transaction. CMSD reserves the right to: • Award vehicles to multiple individual bidders based on the highest bid per unit; or • Award all vehicles to the highest responsive lot bid, if such is deemed more advantageous to the District.
